On Saturday, the 28th day of October 2023, the city of Amsterdam known for its cosmopolitan nature, played host to a handful of friends and well wishers of The Saharian show, in a private launch brunch of the African themed TV docuseries. The creative director/hostess Amara, led the guests through the cosy ambience of OBA Osdorpplein, into the spacious and illuminated Salto TV Studios. Placid, the erstwhile co-host of The Saharian show, in his quintessential manner regaled the guests with the conceptualization of the TV docuseries, in a scintillating opening speech. 
Adorned in a white cow boy hat on a cream coloured shirt, looking every inch like Denzel Washington, phenomenal Placid gave the welcome address, to the admiration of everyone. Shortly after, the producer of the show, Anna De Boer, took the stage and delivered a compelling history of the birth of The Saharian show, she took it all the way back to her first encounter with the creative director Amara, whose eagerness and optimism was in fact, palpable.
There comes the star of the show, Dainty Amara! She stepped on the podium and in her unassuming but firm disposition shared the idea, the aim, the objective of The Saharian Show, while acknowledging a handful of individuals whose commitment to the fruition of the concept made the difference.
The evening was wrapped up with great sounds, mouthwatering edibles, variety of drinks, from soda, to alcohol to more alcohol to yet another alcohol…..no one drank to stupor thankfully so. The launch brunch ended with the dainty creative director Amara, adorning her lilac coloured mini gown that accentuated her slightly 
curvy frame, armed with her signature million-dollar smile, gave her heartwarming vote of thanks.
